If you could tell us a little bit more about your skill level and what you're looking for in your clubs, people around here might be able to give you a better sense than they could otherwise give you without that information.

Personally, though, I do like most Taylormade irons (with the exception of the Taylormade Tour Preferred MB Forged Irons). Because I prefer a player's iron, the large cavity back, thick topic line, and offset on the Callaway irons don't do it for me. I think I would like the X-18 and even the X-20 Tour better than the standard X-20.

I like their woods better than their irons, but they still wouldn't be my first choice (which would be Titleist: Titleist 910H Hybrid). I'm still holding out on those futuristic shapes, too. Call me old fashioned.
